Tejima Takuya
Co founder / CEO
"Teji holds a
masters degree from Keio University. He worked as a software engineer at IBM
Research Labs after graduating. Then, he joined LINE Corporation 5 years
later to work as a front-end engineer where he worked in service development
and operations for 2 years. Later, he co-founded a company which was backed
by Venture Capital firm. During that time, he was the Company Technical
Officer (CTO) and developed 8 digital products in 2 years.
Teji founded GAOGAO in 2018 to share his global experience and 0 to 1
development experience with Japanese engineers. Since then Gaogao has
expanded its operations to various countries like Singapore and Thailand and
has grown its members to over forty strong.
Also a teacher at Udemy and a co-author of a book ""Introduction to
Vue.js"", Teji is strongly interested in education and recruitment of
engineers."
Ken Mizuhata
Co founder
"After graduating
from Kansei Gakuin University, Ken joined Nomura Securities in 2005 where he
engaged in private banking and IB business. He joined a project to establish
a Japanese medical corporation in Thailand and Myanmar, after which he left
Nomura Securities in 2016 and moved to Southeast Asia.
His experience in Asia made him realize that Japanese craftsmanship and
software development skills are globally recognized, but could play an even
larger role in the global market.
Ken met Teji just after starting to learn programming. The two co-founded
GAOGAO in 2018. Ken works hard to keep up with the newest trends of the IT
world. He loves his hometown Kobe, basketball, and pizza."
